Description
This painting, like a confession of love suspended in the air, vibrates with a delicate tension between restraint and effusion. As in the song Les mots bleus by Christophe, it evokes that dizzying moment when feelings overflow but still struggle to formulate themselves. Each burst of color, projected on the canvas, seems to be an emotion held back for too long, a shiver of expectation, a breath suspended in the imminence of a declaration.
The composition opens with soft hues, a pale pink mixed with sunny yellow, like the first disturbance of a nascent love, timid and fragile. Then, little by little, the passion intensifies: the colors become denser, the blues become deeper, the greens more vibrant, and the red flashes emerge, ardent pulsations of a heart beating as the inevitable confession approaches. The chromatic abundance recalls the gradual rise of desire and emotion, that moment when love becomes too great to remain silent, when it seeks to express itself in the urgency and beauty of a spontaneous gesture.
The absence of clear contours, the fusion of nuances, translate the indeterminacy specific to nascent love: a state of intoxication where certainties fade, where souls approach without yet touching, oscillating between the fear of rejection and the irresistible impulse towards the other. This pictorial blur embodies the trouble of lovers, this feverish hesitation between modesty and the impulse of the heart.
Philosophically, the work evokes the dialectic between silence and speech, between the contained promise and the explosion of feeling. As with Roland Barthes, who analyzed amorous discourse as a language that is both intimate and universal, this painting illustrates the tension between what is silent and what is expressed beyond words. It celebrates this fragile moment when love is both absolute and uncertain, when it still exists only in the quivering of the air and the vertigo of waiting.
Thus, this canvas is not simply an explosion of colors; it is a pictorial echo of the beating of the heart before the confession, a sensory landscape of suspended love. Like a declaration still unfinished, it invites us to lose ourselves in the beauty of the moment, in this exquisite wait where everything is possible, where souls guess each other before uniting.

Born in 1984 in Strasbourg, she developed a pronounced taste for art from a very young age. In middle school and then in high school, she became passionate about visual arts classes and photography. She draws regularly in her free time with a friend with whom they develop this common passion.
As a young adult, she continued to train at the Beaux-Arts in Strasbourg and at the Esad in Orléans in film photography and drawing. She visits museums and contemporary art exhibitions.
Since then, inspired by photographic composition, she has continued to develop a unique artistic language, balancing harmony and energy, emotions and abstraction, and thus revealing herself in abstract expressionism.
Wagner has been exhibiting regularly for around fifteen years in several French cities including Paris, Strasbourg, Nancy, Orléans, on the Atlantic coast and in the Center Val de Loire region, where she also performs live in front of the public.
An emerging artist, she captures the essence of abstract expressionism with profound sincerity.
His talent transcends the boundaries of traditional art, and continues to inspire and amaze with every brushstroke.
