Biography

The Mosaist is a rising star of Parisian street art, an artist who bridges past and future, matter and pixels. Since February 2021, he has been transforming the capital with over 500 mosaic works imbued with a feel-good nostalgia, turning the streets of Paris into a vast open-air gallery.

His universe is a vibrant homage to the collective imagination: that of retro video games, cryptopunk culture, and the early stirrings of the digital age. Through his creations, The Mosaist revives the ancient art of mosaic while situating it within the Web 3D era. His retro-futuristic series, such as the “Cryptopunks," launched in 2021 in the 11th arrondissement, combine urban art with blockchain technology. Each artwork, anchored in stone, possesses its own “Digital Relic," a time-stamped NFT tracing its location within the city. Thus, each piece becomes both tangible and eternal, connected to a parallel world where art and technology converse.

Recognized by the contemporary art scene, The Mosaist has exhibited at the NFT Factory, the IHAM Gallery, and then at the HD Gallery with his first solo exhibition, “Cryptopunk Minority," which confirmed his status as a visionary artist. In 2024, his Capsule Collection and his “Cult" exhibition at the Galerie Montorgueil marked a new stage in his quest for innovation. His latest solo show, “Pixel Party," has transcended his original medium, exploring new, more immersive and sensory forms.

Between urban poetry and digital revolution, The Mosaist embodies a generation of artists who refuse to choose between heritage and innovation. In his universe, every pixel becomes memory, every mosaic a gateway to the future.
