Biography

Sandrine Plante is a French sculptor, Métis from Reunion Island. Self-taught from the age of 8. She is trained in art history. She apprenticed in sculpture in Rome with Jean Chauchard, a pupil of Paul Belmondo. She also did the school of stone cutting and architecture of Volvic and an apprenticeship with Gigi Guadagnucci in Massa Carrara, Italy. Sandrine is a spiritual artist who works from her dream and her soul connections with her ancestors.
