I became an artist to share meaningful messages with the world. My work holds layers of ideas meant to touch hearts and inspire thoughtful reflection.

Biography

Alexandra Vems (b. in Cheremukhovo, Sverdlovsk region). An artist from Yekaterinburg.

Began to receive art education from childhood: art school, Art Institute (RGPPU), which allowed to take part in the group wall painting of the Orthodox temple and ceramic iconostases at the end of studies. Worked in a painting company for private and public interiors. Began to paint author's paintings after the maternity leave in 2020, in the same year began to exhibit in Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Budapest, Turkey.

Artist statement :

“I started my career as an artist because I realized that I have something to say to the world. In my works I hide a lot of ideas for the viewer's thoughts. I would like my art to touch the hearts and souls of the public and open them up."
