"A Monet to Remember" is a work that acts as a threshold: a sensory and intellectual journey between memory, perception, and emergence. By playing on the homophony between Monet and moment, the title invokes both the Impressionist painter and the notion of the suspended moment—that fleeting inflection point where the ephemeral takes root in eternity.
This painting is a continuation of Claude Monet's approach, not through formal imitation but through a contemporary reactivation of his concerns: capturing the moment, translating the vibration of reality beyond its fixed form, exploring light as a living entity. Monet wrote in a letter: "I want to paint the air in which the bridge, the house, the boat are located. The beauty of the air in which they are, and it is nothing without that." Here, the artist transposes this quest into an abstract and tactile vocabulary, where light seems to spring from the very heart of the pictorial material.
The work's vertical gradient—from abysmal black to solar yellows—can be read as a metaphor for Platonic reminiscence: the soul, plunged into oblivion, gradually rises toward knowledge, toward the memory of a previous truth. The painting thus becomes an allegory of the ascent from darkness (the unconscious, the past, pain) toward a light of consciousness, of resilience.
Philosophically, A Monet to Remember enters into dialogue with Henri Bergson, who wrote that "pure perception is memory." Here, memory is not a linear reconstruction, but a living, colorful, chaotic material, constantly recreated. Each drop, each projection, each superposition acts as a fragment of memory, a forgotten moment that surfaces. The work does not freeze the past: it brings it to light.
There is also a resonance with the thought of Gaston Bachelard, notably in The Intuition of the Instant and The Poetics of Space. Bachelard sees the poetic instant as a moment of expansion of the soul. This painting is such a moment: a chamber of awakening, an intimate topography of emotion. The viewer is invited to lose themselves there in order to better find themselves, to feel rather than name.
Finally, in this era where digital images tend to standardize perception, A Monet to Remember asserts the power of the unpredictable, the organic, and the gesture. It is a reminder—through a simple but charged play on words—that certain aesthetic experiences cannot be explained, but rather inhabited. And that certain Monets, like certain moments, deserve to be etched within us.

Through her exhibitions, captivating performances and international sales, she reveals her artistic soul to the world, letting her compositions speak for her.
His works are collected both in France and abroad (United States, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, England, etc.)
Born in 1984 in Strasbourg, she developed a pronounced taste for art from a very young age. In middle school and then in high school, she became passionate about visual arts classes and photography. She draws regularly in her free time with a friend with whom they develop this common passion.
As a young adult, she continued to train at the Beaux-Arts in Strasbourg and at the Esad in Orléans in film photography and drawing. She visits museums and contemporary art exhibitions.
Since then, inspired by photographic composition, she has continued to develop a unique artistic language, balancing harmony and energy, emotions and abstraction, and thus revealing herself in abstract expressionism.
Wagner has been exhibiting regularly for around fifteen years in several French cities including Paris, Strasbourg, Nancy, Orléans, on the Atlantic coast and in the Center Val de Loire region, where she also performs live in front of the public.
An emerging artist, she captures the essence of abstract expressionism with profound sincerity.
His talent transcends the boundaries of traditional art, and continues to inspire and amaze with every brushstroke.
