Natali Tomenko, born in 1994 in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, Natali Tomenko is a distinguished contemporary visual artist of Roma heritage whose work resonates with profound cultural and emotional depth. Currently residing in Vienna, Austria, Tomenko brings a unique perspective shaped by her diverse background and transformative experiences.
Natali's academic foundation in art was established at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, where she earned a Master's degree in Graphic Design. Her early explorations in oil painting and the intricate technique of linocut revealed a fascination with texture and detail, laying the groundwork for her artistic evolution.
The seismic events of 2022, marked by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, catalyzed a pivotal shift in Tomenko's creative direction. Embracing abstract acrylic painting as her principal medium, she embarked on a deeply introspective and expressive journey.
