Biography
The desire to draw has always been anchored in me, but destiny wanted it otherwise. At a certain point, quite late, my passion caught up with me and drawing and art in general entered my life forever.
At first glance, my work is a piece of nature, a landscape, and little by little the gaze is faced with a mass of various materials - coating, plants, wood, bones, fibers... - the materials are superimposed on each other, an assembly of elements in more or less thick layers in the hope of creating curiosity in the viewer and encouraging them to examine more closely the mysteries hidden there, to question them about what we are facing this universe in which we live. A magnificent, luminous nature which does good but which often hides a cruel and just world at the same time.
My paintings are soaked in thoughts charged with intense emotions. I thus create an alchemy in order to evoke a mystical, even disturbing, austere and yet full of life atmosphere. My inspiration comes from my numerous walks and these encounters with this nature create strong and intense moments engraved in my memory which I transcribe in my works. This joy, this suffering, this cry of alarm which sends us back to what we are, because without it who are we?
Every day that I can enjoy is a miracle if we realize what matter is made of. How many times after placing my hands on a fold of bark, the feeling of clinging to these branches invades me, to hoist me up to the highest point of its summit.
