For the autumn exhibition, we are presenting a photographic series Two landscapes by Yasuo Kiyonaga.
Thanks to the success of this series, several exhibitions have been organised since 2020. This time in Paris, we will be exhibiting new pieces, including the one-off.
These abstract pieces, composed of two images, are, according to the artist, photographs of ‘landscapes’. Kiyonaga always recalls a scene through two landscapes, with time passing.
He doesn't mention what he photographed. Perhaps at night in the city, in a park full of flowers or by the sea. These are all the artist's personal memories.
The colours delicately extracted by the artist are artistically juxtaposed with the other scene. Through the assembled images, viewers will be able to perceive the landscape that the artist has seen.
