Biography
1981: Born in Yerevan, Armenia.
2001-2003: Studied at the Faculty of Painting at P. Terlemezian Art College.
2003-2009: Graduated from the Faculty of Art Graphic at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.
2010: Elected as a member of the Armenian Artists Union.
His works are held in private collections across Armenia, Europe, and Russia. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Armenia, Europe (including Italy and Malta), and Russia (including Moscow, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, and Barnaul).
Type of Artwork Preferred: Collage.
Khachatryan initially began with his own monotipia technique in small sizes, utilizing bland metals. However, nowadays he integrates graphic and painting in his collage works. Khachatryan employs wood or canvas, oil, and various mixed techniques. His works often feature symbols of the cross, old manuscript texts, heads of coins, and other ancient details.
