Sandrine is French Australian Abstract artist, based in Sydney Australia.
Sandrine paints in impasto and abstract style using a variety of acrylic mediums with the aim to bring moments of joy into others' lives and homes.
Growing up in the tropics in the Indian Ocean, Sandrine's love for happy colours and hot weather has influenced and inspired her art in various expressive ways. “Painting transports me to a happy place... In a way it is like Nature which has the power to put your mind at peace".
With her latest range 'Blossoms', she wanted to recreate the beauty of spring and summer and the magic of flowers by painting them in an abstract form yet using harmonious tones.
Art for Sandrine is a therapy, “when I paint time doesn't exist anymore, it is just me and the canvas, and I love the sensation of being transported to another world".
