Biography
Isabelle Seilern was born in Salzburg, Austria. Interested in photography since her adolescence, she trained in Innsbruck before continuing as an autodidact after moving to Paris in 2002. From the start, Isabelle's work shows rather an imagined world, either by staging or by transformation of reality by his gaze. If at the beginning it was the technique of photography, the play with light, which interested her, it is now the seduction of the images that she encounters in everyday life, the idea of creating new worlds from of selected details. In recent years, his photographic works have become more and more abstract. Very interested in painting, because of childhood memories with her grandfather painter, her photos look like paintings and are often taken for such.
