Sabine Stinglhamber

The deepest emotions of the childhood

Biography

Born in Liège, Sabine Stinglhamber has lived for over twenty years in the charming village of Ohain, where she has nestled her studio in a haven of greenery just steps away from her family home.

Through her work, Sabine seeks to awaken the emotions hidden deep within herself—those that spring from childhood, as well as the more immediate feelings that inhabit her daily life.

By allowing her hands to shape the clay with instinctive gestures, she transmits a part of herself, a fragment of her soul.

A mother of five and a grandmother, she draws inspiration from the emotions of everyday life. Her favorite subjects are children—their fragility and their strength.

Through her sculptures, Sabine conveys powerful messages of life, touching that eternal child who continues to dwell within each of us.
