Biography
Axel Ruhomaully is a Belgian-Mauritian photographer. For more than 15 years, Axel Ruhomaully has been one of the references in luxury hotel and lifestyle photography for the entire Indian Ocean. In 2015, he founded the Meta-Morphosis association which aims to "preserve the memory of places and transmit the pride of men through art". One of the concept of Meta-Morphosis consists in making art photographs representing objects, tools, works, furniture and places that are part of the heritage. These works are then sold internationally to participate in the financing of memory preservation projects. Each photograph requires 3 to 8 hours of shooting using a technique that creates black thanks to a play of light.
