Biography

Soniart is a self-taught artist with a deeply inspiring journey.

Placed in an orphanage during her childhood, she escaped to escape a forced marriage. Her path then led her to a collective of artists engaged in the fight against child abuse, where she participated in the creation of various artisanal works: raffia shoes, marquetry, stilt houses, tata somba, necklaces, and other creations.

Subsequently, she trained in photography while developing her work as a painter.

Each of her works tells a story, nourished by her experience and resilience. Her work has already been exhibited in Dakar, Rabat, Lomé, and Cotonou.

The other visuals I am attaching will allow you to discover the singular universe of her work.

I have the pleasure of offering you, exclusively, this canvas which, I think, would find a perfect place in your beautiful collection.
