Young Bolivian artist Kenia Almaraz Murillo has lived and worked in France for more than ten years.
His work revolves around weaving, which is a common practice in Bolivia. She is fascinated by the graphic codes of this radical art, by its forms, and the use of primary colors. By appropriating the codes of this ancestral practice, Kenia Almaraz Murillo creates her own language.
She becomes the spokesperson of a complete art: geometric, repetitive and calculated.
