Giovanna Jauregui started her training as a plastic artist in Bolivia, later continued her studies in Brazil and Holland. 

He defines herself as a nature lover in all its manifestations. “Gio", as she was nicknamed in Holland, paints the flora and fauna of the Andean lands. Her work often challenges the traditional use of color. Following this approach, she interprets the world that surrounds her from a positive point of view. She intends to transmit to the viewer an emotional experience that can move the spirit.

She often addresses in her works themes related to social justice because in her condition as a lawyer she has worked to defend woman´s rights. In particular, she has led a crusade to defend the rights of woman within the plastic art spheres by helping to open up new spaces of artistic expression and exhibition for a collective of more than a hundred woman artists in Bolivia.
