Biography
Tashko Popov is an established author in the field of fine art. He was born at 1948. During the 2017 he leaves his world leaving behind him many unique works. His work goes through several significant stages, which shape and create him as an author. He graduated from the Art Academy majoring in poster and font. After returning to his hometown, he worked as a freelance artist for many years. It was during this period that he became fascinated by painting. He creates works filled with symbols and signs very close to surrealism as a style of expression. Quite extreme images dot his canvases. His work could be divided into a" Dark" and „Bright" period. Tashko Popov was the first in Bulgaria to create the „Advertising graphics "specialty. To this day it is taught in the specialized schools of fine art.
