Born in 1955, Rumiana Rusinova is a Bulgarian sculptor. She lives and works in Sofia.
She studied at the Academy of Arts in Sofia. The artist likes to represent women or anthropomorphic beings. The artist has a genuine interest to display clothes. Complex, original and extremely refined, these clothes are also a symbol of human diversity.
Member of the Bulgarian artist union, Rumiana Rusinova received several awards especially a special prize from the Dosey Gallery in 1994 and Europe cote d'Azur des arts et de la culture in 1997. Her art work is exhibited in several Bulgarian galleries, such as the National Art Gallery in Sofia, and in international private collections as well.
