The youngest of a family of five children, she was born in Montreal on June 30, 1962. From her early childhood, she already showed a marked interest in drawing.

Always fascinated by the play of shadows and light as well as by people and their looks, Andrée Roy has developed a technique that now sets her apart, with oils and spatulas.
She thus creates fictional and contemporary characters larger than life and translates emotions and personalities.
Professional member of RAAV and winner of several awards, her works can be found in several galleries in Canada and Europe.
