Biography
Born in China in 1963, Leng Jun is a visual artist specializing in hyper-realistic painting. At first glance, the artist's impressive compositions appear like photography. Having grown up in the Sichuan Province, Leng Jun was influenced by the period of economic evolution known as the "opening of China" that occurred during his adolescence.
The artist's work has sold at auction numerous over the course of his career, and he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Birmingham in 2018 for his contributions to hyper-realist portraiture.
