Du Ke is a Chinese artist born in 1968 who lives and works in Tongzhou District, Beijing, China. He graduated from the painting department of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1994. In 1995, he moved to Yuanmingyuan Artists Village in Beijing to start creating art. In 1998, he joined the Oil Painting Research Bureau of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts to study.
In 2000, he founded Du Ke Oil Painting Studio. Since 2007, he has been based in Songzhuang Artists' Village. In 1994, he held his first solo exhibition on the theme "Sofa Series" at the Art Museum of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. In 1996, he participated in an oil painting exhibition with 10 other artists at the Beijing Yunfeng Art Garden.
In 1997, he participated in the oil painting exhibition "Three People Walking" at the Beijing International Art Garden. Several works were acquired by collectors in Taiwan and Hong Kong. In 2005, he participated in the Guangzhou Modern Art Exhibition. In 2007, he participated in the thematic exhibition "Life in Songzhuang" at the Songzhuang Art Museum. In the same year, he participated in the open exhibition "Songzhuang Art Market" in the Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall. In 2008, he participated in the 100 Artists Art Exhibition "Welcome to the New Year". Several of his works were acquired by Shangshang International Art Museum.
He participated in the "Songzhuang Originality" theme exhibition in May of the same year and participated in the "No Theme" painting exhibition at the Beijing Hongwan Art Museum in October of the same year. Also in October, he participated in the "Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition" at 798 Dafeng Gallery. In December 2009, the series of works "Youth Dance" was sent to Poly Winter Auction. In 2010, he participated in the Nomination Exhibition of Chinese Young Artists in Shanghai. In the same year,
he exhibited at the Beijing Huantie Times International Gallery and held a solo exhibition on the theme "Youth, Youth" where several of his works were collected. In 2010, he participated in the art exhibition "Beijing Beijing" at Songzhuang Xiaobao Station Gallery. Since 2012, he has been represented by Songzhuang Art Cooperative Gallery. From 2014 to 2016, he participated in the first and second rounds of the Chinese New Wild Artists Group Exhibition, with "Big Sofa Series" and "Large Landscape Series" at the Beijing Rodin Museum of Art.
In 2017, several of his works participated in Huachen Auction in Xiamen. In April 2018, he exhibited in Pure China organized by Hong Kong Spring International Art, in 2021, he participates in Chinese Mammoth Contemporary Art Exhibition in Beijing and in December 2021, the series "Childhood" will participate in Shanghai Hongda Art Auction.
In 2022, the work "Big Sofa Series" participated in "Chinese Contemporary Artists Exhibition organized by the Young and Middle-aged Artists Network Platform, he won the first prize.

Du Ke is a Chinese artist born in 1968 who lives and works in Tongzhou District, Beijing, China. He graduated from the painting department of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1994.
