Yolanda Velasquez is a painter born in Colombia in 1965.

She started her career at the David Manzur School of Art, a renowned artist in Colombia, before pursuing her studies in industrial design, drawing and coloration techniques.

His pieces depict scenes of daily life directly from his homeland and Asia where she lived for 6 years. Through her painting, she pays tribute to all the people of Colombia, showing her pride and love for the country.

In a figurative style, she makes the personages and landscapes shine, by painting them in warm and sparkling colors. Her canvas vibrates with the movement that she transmits through a game of textures and shades.
