Gleo

Not even 30-years old mural artist Gleo is the author of a couple dozen big walls around the world. However, monumentalism stops at the doorstep of her studio, where she prefers to compose intimate daily life scenes, fragments of memories and portraits of women wearing colorfully-patterned masks – reminiscent of the social status tattoos women wear in her country. Gleo draws her inspiration from ancient Columbian culture to create works full of mysticism and spirituality wrapped in a mysterious aura. Gleo is an active member of the vibrant South American art scene, and among its youngest representatives, walking in the footsteps of Inti, Saner, Nunca and Os Gêmeos.
