Biography

Manuel Alejandro Pérez Marrero is a Cuban painter born in 1983 and graduated in Fine Arts from the Instituto Superior de Félix Varela.

His work focuses in part on the urban landscapes of his country. He manages to catch the soul of Havana, capturing magical moments of Cuban architecture and culture. Each of his paintings is a genuine invitation to dive into the heart of the Cuban essence and its daily life, revealing all the richness and contradictory beauty of its history through urban landscapes imbued with life and passion.

Since 2007, Manuel has experienced growing success on the national and international stage, with exhibitions in the United States, Denmark, Spain and Canada. His work can be found in private collections around the world.
