Biography

Born on December 5, 1964, in Kharkiv, into the family of artist Adolf Loza, later awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine.

In 1984, she graduated from the Odessa Theatre and Art College, specializing in puppet theatre design. In 1992, she graduated from the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky (Faculty of Art and Graphics), earning qualifications as a teacher of fine arts, drawing, and vocational education. She studied under O. I. Pyshmichenko and Z. D. Borysiuk.

Since 1995, she has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Nataliia Loza works primarily in painting. She is a lecturer in drawing and painting at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.

Since 1988, she has participated in numerous art exhibitions, plein air sessions, symposia, and collaborative projects in Ukraine and abroad, including Sevastopol, Kyiv, Lviv, Potsdam, Ferrara, Berlin, Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Mukachevo, Bartoszyce, Istanbul, and Kobleve.

She has held numerous solo exhibitions. Her works are included in the collections of the Odesa Art Museum; the Odesa Museum of Contemporary Art; the K. M. Kroshytskyi Art Museum; the Mariupol City Museum of Contemporary Art and Culture named after A. I. Kuindzhi; the I. Y. Repin Museum; the A. Belyi Museum; the local history museum in Shabo; as well as in the private collection of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, and in numerous private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Norway, the United States, Canada, Israel, Poland, Bulgaria, and other countries.

In 1988, she participated for the first time in an exhibition organized by the Odessa branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 1994, she took part in the All-Ukrainian exhibition “Spring."
Since 1998, she has participated in Crimean All-Ukrainian plein air sessions in Sevastopol.
In 1999, she held her first solo exhibition at the “Treasure Island" Gallery of the Odessa Literary Museum.
In 2019, she was awarded the state title “Honored Artist of Ukraine."
In 2023, she received the academic title of Associate Professor and became a laureate of the Tetiana Yablonska Prize.
