Biography
Erik Jørgensen was born in 1951, he is a Danish photographer and practices two types of photography.
The first one is a constructed photography, where transformation is omnipresent. He usually combines two photos to obtain a third one which is completely new. At times transformation is mainly focused on one photo. A procedure where the aim is to create imaginary reality. Simultaneously, Erik Jørgensen also does landscape photography, where the approach is the opposite: the research is focused on transmission more than on the creation of a new reality.
He also participated in several collective exhibitions, Denmark but also Sweden, France and Germany.
