Elodie Garrido

Born in Trappes, France, to a Portuguese immigrant family and a practicing Jehovah's Witness, Elodie grew up in the Parisian suburbs. The youngest of three children, she is a victim of physical and psychological violence from a strict education and a depressive and bipolar mother.

At the age of 5, she found refuge in drawing and painting, where she created a "free" inner world.

At the age of 14, Elodie studied at the Maximilien Vox School and then entered the Ceramics section of Duperré in Paris. Precocious, she is supported by her teachers and sells her first works during a collective exhibition dedicated to young graduates.

At 22, she became interested in new technologies, the web, data, and DTP. This knowledge allowed her to develop her creative abilities in the digital communication sector.

At 23, she became Artistic Director, her creative hybridity allowed her to evolve with various communication agencies in Paris.

At 30 years old, and after having spent 10 years without painting. Elodie returns to her initial practice of acrylic painting and explores the notion of "vibratory frequency" in her studio 

in the 10th district of Paris.

At the age of 31, she joined AXA France's Internal Communications, Commitment and CSR Department as Creative Director/Multimedia Producer and passed on her know-how to young work-study students. Today, she closes her first series in a collective exhibition "Abstract Arts & Landscapes
