Biography
Born on 18/09/31 in Matanzas, Cuba. Arrived in France in 1961. He obtained the honorary title of "Illustrious Son of the City of Matanzas". In 2005, he received the medal of distinction for the national culture of the Republic of Cuba.
In 2006, the Matanzas Museum of Arts was created in Cuba, a museum that is supplied with the artist's creations, his personal collections and donations from friends he met throughout his life. In 2016, the Lorenzo Padilla Foundation was created. In 2018, Lorenzo Padilla leaves Montmartre and returns to his native island.
