Biography
Durian is a painter born on January 2, 1954 in the south-west of France.
After three years of training at Cotton's Academy in Houston, Texas, she returned to France. Approaching abstract painting, nature landscapes, real or imaginary characters, her paintings are intended to be a contemporary look at her history, man and society.
Impossible to separate the sky from the earth, the characters from their environment. The modulations of the hues accentuate the movement of time which passes, before our eyes the forms seem to be transformed.
