Biography

Two aspects characterize my approach:

The first: that of forgotten vestiges. Real or imaginary, they bear witness to the neglect of certain contemporaries with regard to the beauties of the past. By placing them on the canvas, I give back to these vestiges, which could have definitively disappeared, Life and Nobility, and where nature regains its rights.

The second: Slavic component which allows me to travel deep into my roots, to understand their importance: Slavic, Ukrainian and Cossack roots. The climate is harsh and the atmosphere is dark: “this awareness of the importance of my deep roots makes me tend towards the Light, and a certain serenity"

The two parts of this expression come together through the intention of giving them back “the word" and thus Hope is always on the horizon!
