Presentation

Photography: gateway to the other.

At the beginning there was silence, fear of others.

I think I started photography because I could put an object between me and others. The camera was the limit not to be exceeded, the unconscious matchmaker.

By confronting myself with the practice of my profession, my approach slowly transformed. The camera has become a communication tool: I speak to you in order to photograph you. In order to build a representation of you, I listen to you and I question you. By photographing others, I learned to love them a little and take pleasure in reaching out to them. Today, photography allows me to find the world intrinsically beautiful: whoever you are, whatever you do, whatever you act, you fascinate me: I photograph you, then I take part in society.
