Cathy P.'s creations are born under the impulse of a wish: that of transcribing an emotion, of sharing a feeling in the face of the always fascinating and timeless beauty of Nature. At first, contemplative, eyes wide and camera in hand, then comes work in the studio. The travel photo then comes to life on the canvas. The work evolves with great graphic freedom, transforming through the mixture of paints, inks, paper collages, relief effects.

“I love colors, exploration and experimentation, playing with new possibilities and layering, accumulation of different techniques. My universe is figurative. But above all I like imagination, daydreaming and getting out of photographic reality. I find inspiration in simple moments, very often fascinated by the changing and invigorating power of the sea. In particular, the beauty, the shimmering colors of the landscapes of southern Portugal fill me with a joyful and obvious serenity. »

Since childhood, Art has always been part of Cathy P's daily life. A Fine Arts degree and various life experiences naturally lead Cathy to create a Workshop, in order to teach for many years, and share her passion with equally passionate children, adolescents and adults.
