Claudine Dupeyron was born in Blida, Algeria, on May 23, 1956.

At the age of 18, she left France, stayed in Laos and Morocco, then discovered a vocation for the performing arts at the turn of the 1980s. She then became “Lisa Dhora" transformist performer, and continued to perform extensively to travel.

This first chapter of her life, first in Europe, during tours in nightclubs, cabarets, theaters, casinos and music halls, continues across the Atlantic, invited to festivals (Colombia, Australia, Venezuela ) and on cruise ships from 1989. It was therefore during his numerous stopovers in the Caribbean and South America

South that she begins to “pick up wonder stories" on the beaches, these debris of magnificent pasts brought by the waves.

It was in Brazil that her passion for the mineral world began, the richness and splendor of which she discovered; It was then that she began buying and collecting magnificent semi-precious stones.

But these “piles of wonder" will remain dormant, and will only take shape after an inner germination, thanks to a radical change of life in 2000.

Then begins the second chapter: leaving behind travel, incessant movement, and the stage, to experience the excitement of the “blank page" and the work to be born, a new adventure and a new laboratory of experimentation for this autodidact passionate!

In 2000, she opened the jewelry boutique - gallery - workshop “Chez Clo" in Milan, a place of creation, exchange and sociability in a young and dynamic neighborhood.

Over the years, the supports, materials, attachments, colors and design of these contemporary jewels, all unique pieces, evolve: they gradually begin to rely on a logic of “upcycling", and to constitute a bridge between “pure" jewelry and the first sculptures. These twelve years in Milan at “Chez Clo", enriching, creative, educational and a little crazy, also gave rise to exhibitions and stimulating collaborations with the fashion world.

But in 2013 the desire to return to the sea and rewrite a new chapter made him leave

Milan for Nice where she has lived and worked ever since.

The works of Claudine Dupeyron, sculptures and jewelry-sculptures, speak of Time and

Resilience and in an alchemical and shamanic way, they blow a wind of almost anarchic freedom, and encounter various materials, all aged and “wrinkled", and for some softened by the Sea.

These improbable hybrid forms, sometimes looking primitive and archaic, are a way of recomposing time, even if it is Nature which has accomplished the most complex journey of mutations.

For Claudine Dupeyron, it is about serving as a link, and being the hand which, with humility, gives a soul to things by respecting their essence, and magnifying their beauty, already there, but sometimes obscured by friction. and the wear and tear of life.
