“You will learn more from the Woods and the Stones than from all the teaching of the masters…)”. She will have been like a beacon, a constant, in my long-term artistic journey…

The works presented are taken from the series "from Wood to Wood", concocted in the heart of a still privileged nature which was able to welcome me in great despair... The ambient serenity of the Vosges forest of the S-W, saving trauma, reminded me allowed a much-needed rebound…

Return to the sources, including that of Madon, which must be earned by the steep descent of the Sentier des Druides... The poetic imagination is constantly engaged there. At the sources, too, of the very essence of drawing through the sobriety of technical means, charcoal and graphite lead, offering maximum contrast in a deep introspection of wood particles collected during rustic wanderings... It will be kept the impact of a detail, of a rhythm, which will take on its full extent on paper, in the impulse of the creative gesture...
