Biography

My painting is essentially inspired by an urban landscape with a framing that will include vegetation. I like that it is very present there. Shadows for me are a determining element in the identity of my painting and they must provide a very strong contrast in my paintings.

My patterns are partitioned with a very marked black surround which gives a comic book spirit that I like. Usually, it's the first thing that appeals to viewers who are attracted to my style of painting. When I like a place or a building, I will paint it several times, each time providing a different framing or shadows.

The trips I make are sources of inspiration for new paintings. Thus, I can go from a monument in Paris to a street in Miami, or even a Breton seaside, the place where my workshop is located today.

Each painting tells a story, of which you will be a chapter if you acquire it.
