Biography
Painter & sculptor, Born to French parents under the Chilean moon of October 2, 1964.
Trained at the University of the Andes in Colombia, Cécile juggles between fundamental life sciences (biology & microbiology) and fine arts. Her universe is built from research into various techniques, approaches and materials to achieve the expression of a movement of life through the shaping of clay and other elements, including marble and bronzes. She has exhibited in Colombia since 1984 and then in other countries of South America and Europe since 1999. Her works can now be found in Germany, England, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador , Italy, France, Netherlands, Uruguay, USA, Sweden, Switzerland… and who knows, these great travelers.
She accompanies her students in Orléans in her workshop open all year round for creators looking for intuitive and authentic expression.
