Vendi Métal

VeNDi is an artist born in 1965.
After numerous training courses in metal (machining and design), he began his professional career in aerospace, then as a Draftsman in a Design Office, and later, as a Project Manager in Engineering.
He then turned towards technical infographics, another passion of his.
Throughout all these years, he has always approached these various professions as large spaces of creativity.
But he missed metal, and more than 15 years ago, with the encounter with the Industrial Decorative style that he returned to, through multiple creations, interiors or decorative items (furniture, fittings, and lamps in particular).
For the last few years, he has chosen to take a direction where imagination, design, and technical research predominate, for resolutely artistic creations and sometimes complex realizations, such as Sculptures, Paintings along with marquetry, Lamps with Art Deco inspirations, etc..., and always in Metal.
His curiosity also allows him to open up and explore other styles or techniques, such as Pop Art and Street Art, in the form of mixed media paintings, aesthetic and colorful, but also Pop Culture, through airy and ornate Compression Sculptures, often reinterpreting iconic objects around beauty in his own way, also paying homage to French know-how, such as in perfumery or the automobile.
He also works on the creation of personalized and themed sculptures or trophies, for various events.
