Description
This sculpture reinterprets a symbol of luxury with a raw approach. The metal asserts itself here as a noble and architectural material. Steel and aluminum structure the whole with geometric precision.
The contrast strikes immediately. The top and base retain straight and smooth lines. The body of the bottle transforms into a crumpled material. This metalwork evokes compressed aluminum foil. The deep blue brings a marked visual intensity.
The artist plays on the tension between industrial rigor and the organic aspect of the relief. The central plate, with its soft contours, anchors the piece in the imagination of fashion. The object becomes a monumental icon. Each fold captures the light differently. The surface alternates between bright reflections and areas of shadow. This piece combines the strength of metal with the elegance of a perfume. The structure rests on a flat base made of brushed steel.
Presentation
After numerous training courses in metal (machining and design), he began his professional career in aerospace, then as a Draftsman in a Design Office, and later, as a Project Manager in Engineering.
He then turned towards technical infographics, another passion of his.
Throughout all these years, he has always approached these various professions as large spaces of creativity.
But he missed metal, and more than 15 years ago, with the encounter with the Industrial Decorative style that he returned to, through multiple creations, interiors or decorative items (furniture, fittings, and lamps in particular).
For the last few years, he has chosen to take a direction where imagination, design, and technical research predominate, for resolutely artistic creations and sometimes complex realizations, such as Sculptures, Paintings along with marquetry, Lamps with Art Deco inspirations, etc..., and always in Metal.
His curiosity also allows him to open up and explore other styles or techniques, such as Pop Art and Street Art, in the form of mixed media paintings, aesthetic and colorful, but also Pop Culture, through airy and ornate Compression Sculptures, often reinterpreting iconic objects around beauty in his own way, also paying homage to French know-how, such as in perfumery or the automobile.
He also works on the creation of personalized and themed sculptures or trophies, for various events.
