As an abstract, dreamlike painter, I have taught art in one of my studios, through a charity, and also at
a higher education college specialising in web and design to students. I am a recipient of the Arts, Sciences and Letters medal. I have exhibited at art fairs (both national and international), in galleries and in museums. My acrylic painting is based on conveying an emotion.

Each time, it is a blank page. I first apply my materials in a random manner. I prepare my colours and devise a focal point of light. From there emerges a gestural approach that I execute mainly with my hands through the layering of glazes. And that is when a cascade of light comes into play, bringing my work to the fore. Depending on the effects I have created, I visualise a path to follow, and from there the creative process unfolds. Perspective, form, volume and the adjustment of the light's angle all come into play. Without light, my work would not exist. I never know in advance what I'm going to create. That's how I discover my painting as it takes shape. It lies between earth, water and the elements, as in Asian art. There is always water in my work.
