Born in Constance (Germany) in 1962, her technique creates the illusion of everyday life immersed in a fantastic imaginary world where reality tilts into dreams. The keystone being the geometry which carries the whole picture, especially for those of aquatic inspiration. Water, this recurring theme in her where, as if by magic, faces, animals, objects become drops, splashing projections…. Equipped with a sketchbook from which she never separates, she walks the streets, the seaside, the old towns in search of a sound, a look, a color. Back in her studio, she then prepares a drawing, a future work. Then comes the long-awaited moment of the meeting, sometimes very fusional of colors and her hands on the canvas where she seeks the right tone. Patience becomes his ally. Using the glazing technique, she places here and there in an order known only to her, myriads of water drops which come like precious stones to illuminate her subject. Her source of inspiration, the great masters: Ingres, Leonardo da Vinci, Dali, Vigée le Brun, Magritte, MC. Escher and Mucha are for her so many studies.
