Kya graduated from Beaux-Arts de Valenciennes, and since then he has never stopped painting with various themes such as women through manga, vintage advertising and American Comics ... Kya is interested in all the news icons of the counter-culture using a very classic style of painting. Photographic and televisual images are his sources, thus registering him in the current of painting of post-pop sensitivity. He works on a playful and pop painting focused on nostalgia.
