Philippe Durand

Born in 1963, Philippe Durand lives and works in Paris. He recently won the Photography Contest of Grotte Oree du Pont-d’Arc, dite Grotte Chauvet. He exhibited his project Vallee des Merveilles 2 at the Centre Regional d’art Contemporain du Languedoc-Roussillon, Sete (2016) and at the FRAC Bretagne (2015). On this occasion, a catalog was published with the support of the CNAP, the CRAC Sete, and the FNAGP. He has also exhibited at the MAC du Grand Hornu, La Virreina de Barcelone (2012), Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago, CA’ASI of Venice (2011). His work is present in several public collections such as the photographic collections of the Centre Pompidou – MNAM as well as the Centre National des Arts Plastiques, the FRAC Basse Normandie, the FNAC...
