Biography
Benjamin SPaRK is a Franco-Belgian artist born in 1969, who lives and works in Brussels. At 28, he studied drawing at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and then went to the United States to improve himself before settling in Belgium, to devote himself entirely to his art.
Painter and sculptor, Benjamin SPaRK creates spooky characters from comics, cartoons, advertising and ancestral symbols of humanity. Benjamin SPaRK appears to be a powerhouse of “street pop" Brussels, a movement which claims the synthesis of American pop culture and the European street art.
