Biography
Born in the North of France, Nadine Chantreau is self-taught painter who staarted making art more than 25 years ago. Guided by instinct, her paintings are colorful, mixing with photos, newspaper articles or fragments of sentences, as anything is a pretext for her to create and to meditate.
Nadine Chantreau's paintings reflect a moment, an idea, she use cardboard, sand, plaster, found materials, collage, acrylic paint. The result: living pictures that make you want to touch them and that reflect life today in the true sense of the word "contemporary".
