Biography
SonJ was born in 1974 in Dieppe (76). Young self-taught artist, her training as a painter is only her creative sense, her outlook on the world and her sensitivity. Influenced by her travels in Asia and America, she was first interested in photography. She took pictures of everyday life scenes and also staged female bodies in all their forms of expression. From her travels and encounters, a desire to paint faces of bodies, nature and animals was born, and she gently incorporates pieces of metal or natural recovery into them. His compositions are a mixture of aerosol paints, acrylics, stencils, assemblies and becomes one of his main forms of expression. His works are exhibited regularly at the Lavo // Matik gallery in Paris and in public places.
