Presentation

Born in 1976, Thomas Jorion lives in Paris, works in Europe and travels the world.

The work of photographer Thomas Jorion plunges us in the heart of the "timeless islands".

His photography explores the relationship with the built environment by focusing on the abandoned spaces that he encourages us to observe, provoking us to reflect on the material and the temporal.

Palaces, villas, places of recreation, casinos, castles, hotels... Light cascades and the jealousy of a different ?yesterday?... The artist exposes the fastuous buildings in voluptuous and voyeuristic peregrinations to the heart of these old places of vanity.

Thomas Jorion took his images with a 4x5" camera and color negatives. He took part in numerous fairs and exhibitions in various galleries in France, the United States and Japan.
