Biography
For MargÓ , drawing always has been a natural skill, like a primitive gesture starting from her childhood and most intuitive action. Her professional life first led her to others paths but then, in parallel, she starts following art classes until the moment in which colors, brushes and canvas imposes themselves to her true path : being a painter.
The Woman is her main subject as well as a certain identity research’s thematic she’s transposing through forms and colors. Inspiring by the idea of « Art-Therapy », each canvas reveals some hidden things and feeling like many colorful radiography gathering some specific moment of her existence.
The present and the past are crossing and play together in a common motion connected with the light. And, it’s without any deny that we can feel and see in her playful artwork very introspective some strong scar, like a kind of crack that precisely represents her.
As Leonard Cohen says « There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in ».
