Jean Dieuzaide was born in Grenade sur Garonne, in the Toulouse region, on June 20, 1921.


Photographer reporter, began photography shortly before the Second World War and photographed General de Gaulle during the liberation of Toulouse. The portrait will be displayed in all town halls in France.


He takes the pseudonym of Yan.

Disappeared in 2003, he remains today the only photographer holder of the two Niepce and Nadar prizes, presented as the Goncourt or the Renaudot of photography.

Jean Dieuzaide died on September 18, 2003 in Toulouse.
