Biography

Born in 1966, Nathalie Leverger spent her childhood at the Port au Légué in the Côtes d'Armor, where she inherited from her father a passion for the sea, the horizon and light, and from her mother, a love for sewing and the needles. In 1989, she graduated from the Nantes business school, AUDENCIA, and discovered painting in 2000 at random from a box of oils offered at Christmas.

For her creations, she is inspired by what surrounds her, landscapes and her photographs. She then developed her work in oil paintings, textile or paper volumes, photographs and books. "Its refined oils, its crocheted cotton traps, its origami installations, compose a poetic universe so we retain a certain duality around the notions of power and delicacy".
