Biography
Patrice Hubert, known as "Pit" is defined by the equation "1661235" or the fourth dimension. His self-taught and visionary hands shape structures where steel pulsates and curves become darts. In a mobile and breathing game, between shadow and light, steel, textile or glass, he telescopes the inert and the organic, infuses the kinetics within the metal itself. Under the shell of its exoskeletons, life struggles and quivers, autonomous. From there to seeing in it the dream of a mad scientist, of discovery of the third type or of human resistance, there is only one step. He is curator of the Naïa Museum (Rochefort-en-Terre). Represented in the USA by Gallery Provocateur.
